DESIGN ASHRAM-
Entertainment, information and awareness under one roof - embodies the existence of Design Ashram. A community space perfectly crafted around the peepal tree for like-minded people to convene, connect and create. It is an effort to bring people from various fields closer, on a nurturing platform, striving to reinforce an interdependent and sustainable society. The 100 year old structures is restored with due reverence to its heritage value and revisioned as a community space. The hostel, DAC-an architectural studio, an Art Gallery, Co-working studio, Library and Peepal tree courtyard coalesce the dream and ideas for enlightening the aura within. Hosting a variety of events, exhibitions and also being one of the official partners for the Kerala Literature Festival, Design Ashram is here to stay and make its mark in the growth of Calicut in the intellectual, artistic and cultural arena.

HOSTEL
The backpacker’s hostel that can accommodate 12 persons adds to the essence of Design Ashram. The idea evolved as a result of the very valuable experiences of the founder Ar. Brijesh, an avid traveler and keen observer, religiously passionate about going around the world, imbibing different cultures and traditions. A haven for travelers with the air brimming with fables from around the world.

The peepal courtyard is a metaphor of deeply rooted oneness symbolizing peace and a sense of belonging to the people.
